A poem I have written for my in-laws after visiting them in Sevilla:
"Sevilla,
In her warm embrace
I discover my innermost secrets.
In her sensuous scents,
My dreams, declared long-lost,
Rise to consciousness again.
In the tranquility of her alleys,
Whispers of love caress me.
And to think that you once wandered this
Wondrous place of flower cascades and
Fragile Oranges,
This, my love,
Seals my love for you.
For the heart of life beats in her,
in Sevilla."
